She wanted outdoor furniture that could withstand the damp, corrosive ocean wind. The furniture was introduced in March 1966 and was named after that year. The collection is considered the first modern outdoor furniture collection. These are models in the elegant combination of a black frame (onyx) and a table top in dark bronze. The coffee tables are
