Designed in 1929 for the German Pavilion in Barcelona as a quiet place for the Spanish royal couple. The clear X shape of the frame and the low, precise stance translate Mies' "less is more" into furniture. This set dates from the 1960s to 1970s and was acquired from Wohnbedarf in Basel.
