This change in Macallan's whiskey range and the different supplies to the international whiskey market are due more to the scarcity of suitable whiskey casks and less to the distillery's production capacity
which give the whiskey its intense taste and dark colour
The distillery was revived in 2002 and has since grown into one of the strongest single malt brands in the world
