Fohr Keramik chest of drawers-like drawer designThis Korean brush holder evokes the quiet precision of the Joseon period. Cylindrical, with geometrically pierced decor, it appears to be an object from the milieu of scholars and writing workshops. The finely applied celadon glaze covers the white gray porcelain, emphasizing its serene form. On the underside, there is a rare, freely painted blue mark under the glaze, presumably in Hanja.
