Its bulbous baluster shape appears calm and present, with the twisted decor playing with golden and burnished patina. The domed lid closes neatly and is crowned by a slender, tapered handle that emphasizes the slightly orientalist silhouette. The patina is original and has been deliberately left uncleaned to preserve its dark tone. Subtle signs of wear
