Er wird zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Tinta de Toro gekeltert. Es handelt sich um einen lokalen Tempranillo Klon, der sich sehr gut an das extreme kontinentale Klima im Gebiet entlang des Duero Flusses angepasst hat.
