This item is dye free, and has hypoallergenic qualities due to the nature of alpaca fibre. Locally made in Masterton from NZ alpaca wool. Beautiful throws from New Zealand's only specialist Alpaca weaving facility based in the Wairarapa. Alpaca fibre is a natural insulator due to a hollow core in the fibre shaft. Without lanolin found in many other fibres,
