1940s Snakeskin Box Purse 50s_sweater 5" Length: 42" Very nice1940s or early 50s snakeskin box purse with single strap. The purse has an interesting shape with a tapered bottom. Top has a twisting lock and the interior is lined in black. Excellent condition for it's age. I didn't note any dryness or flaking to the skin and the lining is in great shape. Handle has some stiffness from age but again, I didn't note any issues to the skin. Top measures about 5 1 4" square and bottom tapers to 2 1 2".
