現代においても世界最高品質と称される1940年代から50年代のフレンチヴィンテージフレームをベースに、サイズ感などを現代風に微調整して展開するアイウェアブランド、guepardのGP-15。guepardではマテリアルに比較的お手頃にご愛用いただけるアセテート素材を使用しており、現代的に微調整したデザインと相まってヴィンテージフレームのエントリーに最適なプロジェクトとなっています。GP-15はフランスの伝統的なスタイルであるクラウンパント型で製作。クラウン(王冠)+パント(丸形)の2つの形を調和させたようなシェイプとなっており、メリハリのあるスッキリとシェイプしたレンズをベースに上部を直線的なカットにすることで王冠のように3辺を強調したデザイン。一見するとかなり個性的にも見えますが、着用すると日本人にも顔なじみが良く、曲線と直線が描く美しいデザインは幅広い方にご着用頂ける一本となっています。またレンズはデモレンズではなく初期の状態からguepardが特別に製作したフラットレンズを装着。そのまま伊達メガネとしての使用が可能です。この特別なレンズは裏面にだけマルチコーティングを施し、レンズ表面は無垢状態のままにすることでコーティング技術が無い時代の雰囲気を再現した仕様となっています。
