The overall style and cut certainly dates it to the 1950s, however the suspended ruched collar is quite reminiscent of the 1920s 30s, and wouldn't look out of place worn over a slightly earlier gown. It's a lovely timeless piece of clothing! Easy fit three self fabric covered button fastening to front, raglan sleeves with turn back cuffs, and vertical welt
