1940s Border Print Dress bow_neck 1940s rayon set consisting of1940 border print dress in a loose weave rayon. Classic shirtwaist style with non functional bakelite (I believe) ball buttons and a slim gored skirt. The border print is in red over a pale taupe ground. The dress closes with a side metal zipper and there is a matching waist tie. This dress is too long for the form, both in length and in the waist. I think it would best be suited to someone taller although the addition of shoulder pads would shorten
