This dress is made from the silkiest velvet and is difficult to see in the photos just how beautiful it is. The elegant cut is a wrap around design with a button at the collar and at the waist to fasten. The neckline is gathered and the sleeves are dramatically full with gathered shoulders and fitted forearms. Fully lined in silk crepe I date this dress to the late 1920s early 1930s.
