Made by a womens co operative in a small village on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Women work in groups to produce these designs. Glass beads are placed in a multicolored pile on a flat surface. Quick and precise bead picking creates the sculpture. Beaders learn to weave or sculpt each design separately.
