50’s Black Floral Print Short Sleeve Satin Dress by I Magnin & Co mock neck grunge t this brooch has turned silverGorgeous vintage 50s medium weight black silk satin (charmeuse) dress with flocked 3 D hydrangeas in shades of blue and green as pictured. I believe this fabric is called "velour de sabers" which is French for "saber velvet" which is a method of creating raised flocked 3 D designs on a solid fabric background, often done by hand using special tools. Scooped front neckline, diagonal bust darts, and vertical darting of the front and back bodice for a
