It is made from a felty boiled wool poly fabric, and has a dramatically flared cut from the waist. It has an open lining (it is not sewn to the outer at the hem) made from a slightly red er or burgundy er cotton, cut longer than the surface fabric so that the bottom of the lining remains visible when the skirt is worn.
