1940s / 1950s Daniel Green Slippers 50s_halter Raglan style shoulders feature smockingAdorable robin's egg blue satin slippers from the 40s or 50s. These are with the original box and seem to be unworn. They were modified at some point. A piece of elastic was inserted in the vamp and covered with a ribbon bow. This was done I believe to add give to the width I believe. It was done cleanly and it not visible beneath the bow. There is also elastic (original) at the back straps. Very nice condition, age related wear only. The insoles curl
