1940 black rayon crepe dress with a mesh yoke studded with clear stones

Colors are vibrant and fabric and seams are strong

Bodice has a fitted waist panel with shirring at the bust for ease

underarm damage etc

1940s Jersey Tilt Hat with Drape strapless Excellent vintage condition with minimal1940s tilt hat in a soft rayon jersey that's pleated over the body of the hat and releases in a drape covering the back of the head. Hat is lined in ivory satin with grosgrain trim. There is an elastic band to secure it to the head and the milliners signature is threaded onto the ribbon, looks like "Mme Viola" to me. Hat is in excellent vintage condition and the elastic still has spring.
