40's Silver Mesh Clutch by Whiting & Davis vintage on line Outer Leg: 37 1/2" -This silver metal mesh cocktail purse is in excellent condition. The silver plating is still bright and shiny. The black lining is in good condition and still has the original Whiting and Davis stamped on the inside. It measures 5 by 3. 5 inches. It is a clutch, so there is no chain handle. But there is a unique, spring pulled delicate chain on the inside that holds a small spring ring that was meant to hold your latch key. The mesh is fine and
