1996 S/S Runway Novelty Print Silk Capelet Dress balloon dress This intricately embellished evening skirtThis 1996 S S Chlo by Karl Lagerfeld capelet dress was made in France of black silk with a novelty print of 19th century women in ruffle skirts and oversized hats. A cursive "Chlo" signature is also featured throughout the print. The same one was featured on that season's runway. It fastens in a wrap style with multicolored blown glass buttons. There's some yellowing to the label but it's otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry cleaned
