30's/40's Carved Celluloid Folk Art Ring high low dress This vintage Stetson Newsboy capSuper cool piece! Vintage 1930s 1940s celluloid plastic ring. Many of these are attributed to inmates and folk artists, Bob Dodd being the most well known artist, who fashioned them out of toothbrush handles & found plastic type materials. This ring has a really substantial front piece, great design, and carving. Size: approx. 6. 5 or just over Face size: . 75 x . 5 Condition: a couple of lighter opaque spots, one indent on the back of the band.
