1940s Wine Pleated Bodice Dress teens_dress Length: 45”Late 1930s early 1940s dress in wine colored rayon crepe. Bodice has stitched pleating over the front and sleeves and closes with self covered buttons and loops. Skirt is a line with a generous hem and there is a side Kover zipper. There is an attached belt that is quite long so I believe it is meant to cross either behind or forward according to the wearer's preference. There is a covered buckle with a prong, however the belt is not grommeted, so I'm
