The material is a white jean material and doesn't have any stains or flaws. They close with two snaps and a zipper! The woman that I bought them from had saved her cute clothes from the 1970s and was downsizing. She just couldn't believe she used to be that size! The model is 5'8" and wears a 3 5 but these were a tight on her. Vintage size 7 8Measure
