The teapot is lavishly and profusely decorated with floral repouss work, the hinged lid with a floral finial, the body of the teapot with scrolling floral designs and a zoomorphic spout with a creature's head for the mouth of the teapot. The teapot is raised on four cabriole legs terminating to scrolled claw
