Forms from this location are the most beautiful we've observed due to their robust pitcher size and tendency to produce upper pitchers (many other forms from other areas rarely produce uppers)
Although it's already a big plant
Dionaea muscipula "Tiger Fangs" is a vigorous variety with great color and really cool looking teeth
It's very likely that the upper pitchers have a similar excrement harvesting function like Nepenthes lowii

We've found it to be one of the easiest growing velvet leaved species. It seems to prefer a bit less light than others or the leaves tend to be a little more pale (at least when young). This species was just recently split from Anthurium villenaorum. The two are extremely similar except for the pulcachense having a revolute ptyxis while those of villenaorum are involute. This
