Haut Brion - 1961 (750ml) large format The work that Alfred Tesseron
Description
The work that Alfred Tesseron and his winemaking team have done at this estate since 1994 is remarkable
the 2008 is just a notch behind the stratospheric 2007
The exceptionally light ruby/orange color is surprising given the opacity of most wines from this vintage
the aromas are other-worldly with truffle
It will ultimately be seen as one of the great vintages of Grange

Consistently an astonishing wine! Anticipated maturity: Now 2005. Last tasted 3
