Victorian Pearl Anchor Brooch Tortoiseshell This piece was made circaA natural half pearl pav set 15ct gold Victorian fouled anchor brooch, marked 15ct on the reverse. This brooch could also be used as a pendant using the circular loop at the top of the brooch. The anchor is a symbol of steadfastness and hope. The symbol is directly correlated to the anchor of a ship stopping it from drifting into danger. Circa 1870. Measurements: 3. 85cm high x 2. 2cm wide at the widest point
