This fine 18th century commode is of serpentine shape and has a overhanging top which is inlaid with two panels with fruitwood scroll work inlay and burl panels and to the center highly figured ash panels. The chest having four drawers with inlaid and brass oval lock escutcheons and brass 'teardrop' handles, the sides of the chest
