Vintage Glaoui Moroccan Rug gold fan ruby and sapphireNamed after the Glaoui tribe that once ruled southern Morocco, these rugs reflect the rich history of the Trans Saharan trade routes. Glaoui rugs are distinctive for combining three weaving techniques in a single piece: flatweave sections, hand knotted areas, and black and white Zanafi bands that tuft out from the sides.
