Her artistic practice explores her connection to land, culture and history as a fourth generation Mexican American in Tucson, Arizona. "Chiltepin Harvest" was inspired by the seasonal harvest that many families in Sonora, Mexico participate in. They camp near wild stands of the chiltepin and harvest its spicy little peppers.
