This pendant is set in 18 carat gold and silver. The impressive central amethyst is faceted with a large table and measures 21. 44mm x 17. 24mm. Suspended from a diamond set bale. The original screw in brooch fitting is still set on the brooch but the brooch pin is missing, the pendant bale is removable so it can easily be worn as a brooch or a pendant. Circa 1870
