It is found in nearly all of Florida. It makes a nice wildflower, but as a short lived perennial it has a relatively short lifespan. Growing only 1 2' tall it makes a nice low border hedge. It likes part shade to full sun. The flowers are pink to white, berries change colors and the fruit is blue black when ripe with an appearance of a powdery
