Gustav Klingert worked as a master for Karl Faberge before opening his own Moscow factory workshop in 1865. He exhibited widely, Paris, New York, Chicago & London. He exported his wares to the United States through Tiffany & Co and his work rivalled that of the very finest Russian makers, Klingert received the Imperial warrant
