Jar with Butterflies by Nancy Briggs Type_Box 5-3" diameterThis lidded jar is made of white stoneware clay. Black underglaze is applied to the unfired ware, then light carving (sgrafitto) reveals the white clay. The piece is then bisque fired and a colored transparent glass is applied and then the piece is fired to cone 6. Dimensions: approximately 9 tall x 6 in diameter.
