Lindores Abbey'The Casks of Lindores' STR Wine Barrique Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) Single Barrel and raspberryDescription Lindores Abbey Distillery is a lowland malt located in the Northwest part of Fife in the town of Newburgh. The whisky part of the Lindores Abbey history starts in 1494 and owes its origins to the Tironensian monks that lived at Lindores Abbey, or the Church by the Water, over half a millennium ago. This was also the first recorded distillation of Whisky in Scotland with Brother John Cor, a Lindores monk, commissioned by King James IV to
