Georgian Amethyst Seal Rhodium set in 18ct gold andA charming small Georgian 18ct gold seal with an amethyst intaglio of a butterfly with folded wings. It has a ribbed base to carry the intaglio with an urn and scroll shaped finial. Such a pretty piece of jewellery. Circa 1800. Measurements: 2. 2cm high by 1. 6cm wide at the widest point.
