It was made in the 1950s by Marzi & Pellegrini
The patina is just delightful

Hallmarked Silver Fob Handbag Mirror Initials M V W R BLACKINGTON & CO vanity set A young deer in nielloThis is a charming fully hallmarked sterling silver novelty fob compact in quite good condition. The lid has an engine turned design of horizontal lines with two banded borders engraved to look like lace. The oblong cartouche is engraved with the initials M V W. The catch is quite unusual a triangular clip folds on to the silver knob. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The interior of the compact is not at all common to see the powder well wall forms
