Antique French Art Nouveau Cameo Glass Soliflore Carnation Vase Emile Galle 1900 Decorative Arts In 1784 his bas-reliefSOLD A fine antique Art Nouveau cameo glass vase, by mile Gall (1846 1904), circa 1900. The vase of tall tapering form, the rounded body with a yellow translucent ground and overlaid with red glass. The design is of Carnation flowers, some fully open and some yet to open, the vase is intricately carved out with a layered cameo technique, using both tools and acid etching then fire polished to give depth and contrast to the yellow translucent mat
