Stratton Compact Mirror Black Basalt Ten Sided Convertible 1960s Stratton compact mirror The phone measures 1 cmThis is such a beautiful Stratton Ten Sided Convertible compact mirror which is fitted with a black basalt plaque commissioned by the makers of the Stratton brand and supplied by Josiah Wedgwood Ltd. The known years of availability for this model is 1962 1968. However, the large majority of these were not adorned with black basalt. This material was one of Josiah Wedgwood's favourite 'ceramic bodies'. Wedgwood described it as The Black is sterling,
