Indeed, despite extreme weather conditions with a hailstorm that took 50% of the harvest, 2018 is the first Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel of the Chteau du Taillan. It has a very nice aromatic complexity of black fruits, with touches of liquorice and round tannins guaranteeing a long and fresh silky material in the mouth. 85% merlot 15% cabernet sauvignon 91 points
