Domaine Chante Perdrix Châteauneuf-du-Pape - 2019 (750ml) Coteaux Varois en Provence Dark cocoaComing from two killer terroirs, Les Serres and Les Gallimardes (both in the southern part of the appellation), the 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape is a ripe, old school styled effort that gives up plenty of ground pepper, garrigue, truffle, gamy meats and olive. Medium to full bodied, with a soft, rounded, mature feel, its a solid wine ideal for drinking over the coming couple of years. Wine Advocate 89 points
