We've found the plants to exhibit a range of coloration in pitcher coloration and morphology
these plants benefit nutritionally by functioning as lavatories for tree shrews as the animals lick the exudate (sugar) from their lids
This form is distinct from any other Nepenthes ventricosa we have ever encountered in cultivation

The petioles are a beautiful bright red and extremely hirsuite. It's a very closely related species to Philodendron serpens which has a similar growth habit.
