There are at least 4 different hardwoods used to make the flowers, and may include Maple, Cherry, Oak, Alder, Birch, Mahogany, Alder, Walnut and others. Most of the wood used comes from Maine or Colorado. Flowers are quite strong at 1 4" thick. Each set will be a little different as we will mix the woods. It is quite a beautiful set when assembled.
