When fully grown the root measures 15 to 17 cm long. Growing method: The leaves and roots are edible. Thin seedlings 7 to 15 cm apart. Harvest when the roots reach 7 to 8 cm in diameter. For a continuous harvest, sow successively every 2 weeks until the end of July.
