Nepenthes veitchii (k) “Big Mama” x “The Wave”

The original was made in the early 90's by Johannes Marabini who distributed seed to growers around the world including Chuck Powell and Leo Song at Cal State Fullerton

Many plants have a very wide striped peristomes and a rajah shape with beautiful pink/red coloration on most clones

Simply put, these are outstanding veitchii. The female parent is a striped (k) clone from Exotica Plants that exhibits a high neck while the male parent, (Murud x "Candy") Striped, originally came to us as a seedling from Christian Klein's excellent breeding. This clone was retained from a large batch of others because of its exceptional shape, color and vigor. The high necks should make for some
