Arts & Crafts Silver Openwork Locket berlin iron but still understatedDATE: Arts & Crafts, 1900 Beautiful antique Arts & Crafts pendant crafted in sterling silver. The openworked front and back depict the same scene: a fairy pixie like creature with foliate collar holding up a lily in one hand and surrounded by a border of leaves, vines, and poppy buds. The front is hinged at the top, and slides aside to reveal a central locket compartment probably originally home to a small round mirror compact. MEASUREMENTS 3. 0 x 2.
