I used the Quino Checkerspot butterfly as the inspiration for this colorway. I included a photo of this beautiful butterfly with fine checkerspots of white, orange, and black. YARN BASE I dyed it on Stained Glass Fingering, which is a soft and squishy 2 ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and
