Flatiron Building at Night Size:20" x 25" The world loves a winnerThe Flatiron Building at the confluence of two world famous thoroughfares, Fifth Avenue and Broadway. This photo was published in The New York Times Metro section on Sept. 30, 2002, in an article to mark the Flatiron Building's centennial. Famous for its unusual three sided shape, the building was completed in 1902 and rose to a height of 285 feet, a feat rarely seen at that period in time.
