THE GREAT BLACK BULL Hand Dyed on Squoosh DK - Block Variegated Yarn mar22-3 I made them using aThe Great Black Bull was inspired by the cave painting found in Lascaux, France, in 1940. This is one of many cave paintings found there but probably the most stupendous and certainly the largest at more than 17 feet wide! The artists used the shape of the rocks themselves to make the bull look 3 dimensional. Archeologists estimate that it was made around 20,000 years ago. This was my club colorway for January 2024 when I went as far back as possible
