New Park Brewing 'Cypress' Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barleywine quad ipa (organic since 2010 and biodynamic"Cypress is a barrel aged barleywine. It was brewed with a huge double mash of Maris Otter malt and boiled for an extended period of time. It was then laid to rest in freshly dumped Willet bourbon barrels for over a year. This blend has some 2 and 3 year old barleywine added to the blend. Were very happy with the resulting notes of sticky toffee pudding, molasses cookies, toasted pecan, and complex barrel flavors from the extended time in toasted
