Bonny Doon Vineyard Picpoul Central Coast, 2022 thomas hooker Certified organic and the perfectThis wine is made of 88% Picpoul and 12% Vermentino. Picpoul literally translates to "lip stinger", and backs up its name with bright, bracing acidity and a unique savory or umami character. It makes for a perfect pairing with oysters, mussels steamed in white wine, butter, and shallots, or a monkfish curry. Bonny Doon is practicing biodynamic. A majority of the Picpoul grapes in this wine come from the Beeswax Vineyard, found in the Arroyo Seco AVA
